Financial Management:
- Oversee the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of bills and invoices.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to develop and implement effective financial strategies.
- Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
- Adhere to grant requirements from federal, state, and local levels, ensuring proper allocation and utilization of funds.
Personnel Management:
- Manage personnel records and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Handle employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
- Collaborate with independent living supervisors and managers to address staffing needs and optimize team dynamics.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with the center's values.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Generate regular financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and maintain financial documentation in accordance with best practices.
- Prepare and submit grant-related financial documentation as required by funding sources.
- Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with human resource management practices, including personnel records and employment laws.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including Microsoft Office suite and accounting software.
