Duties Structures and organizes data, considering user requirements, accessibility of data and technical capabilities.
Utilizes analytical simulation techniques to assess potential requirements and to address historical archiving of data.
Achieves efficient and effective program design, satisfy user requirements and complete assignments in a timely manner.
Coordinates additional development and application requirements to reduce redundancies between internal and national agency applications.
Designs, codes and implements computer programs or sub-routines for common data management processing and user access.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade to be considered for the next higher grade (e.
g.
one year at the GS-12 grade level for consideration for the GS-13 grade level.
) One full time year of Information Technology experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service or private sector that demonstrates experience that of data architecture, data modeling, logical and physical database design, database administration and support of relational and non-relational databases and data marts in both on-premises and cloud environments, covering a host of applications for a wide variety of functional business requirements, supporting growth and integration, involving tabular data, geospatial data and unstructured data such as documents and images.
Experienced in providing leadership support and technical guidance to key business partners, in ensuring architecture and framework are aligned with the Agency's business strategy and needs for data and management of information and providingtechnical ownership and oversight of all efforts related to data architecture and management.
Specialized experience must include formally working as a database administrator or similar data management role with experience managing on-prem SQL Server databases, Geospatial data, and migrating data into Amazon Cloud/AWS.
Highly qualified candidates will possess industry certifications in SQL Database development and administration, and in AWS Cloud Solutions Architecture.
