* Seeking passionate, eager-to-learn, Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling for Adults (QMHP-A), Children, (QMHP-C), and Eligible (QMHP-E) to provide Mental Health Skill Building and/or Intensive In-Home services.
The ideal candidate(s) will work in conjunction with other agencies in order to provide services within the community.
The ideal candidate(s) will provide psychoeducational support, mentoring services, community-based crisis de-escalation support, family relationship building, parenting skills training, social skills training, anger management skills, self sufficiency and self management skills, academic and vocational guidance, community awareness, personal responsibility training, and goal setting.
Case management and life skills training will also be provided to enhance independent living skills.
* The QMHP is responsible for clinical documentation of services, including completion of Person-Centered service plans designed to meet the goals and objectives of client’s serviced.
* The QMHP works in the community and a flexible schedule is required, including on-call crisis intervention.
* The QMHP provides training for individuals/groups in specific life and social skill areas
* The QMHP provides case management / coordination and integration of services
* The QMHP maintains documentation pertaining to clients medical records, including completion of progress notes and service plans
* The QMHP will performs other duties related to the support of developing independent living and social skills.
