Organizing Assistant Job Description Helping people who are downsizing, organizing, and/or moving is highly rewarding! We recreate our client's home when they move or just need it freshened up with decluttering and organizing.
Being a part time organizing assistant allows you the freedom to work when you want as well as the ability to grow with our company when the time is right.
What is the purpose of this job? Your main responsibility is to support the lead project manager in any of the duties necessary to complete a job.
We primarily work with clients who are moving from a large home to a smaller home and need help making that happen.
We will pack up their goods, get them moved by professional movers, then unpack their belongings to create a beautiful new environment.
We may also help clients prior to the move by downsizing their current belongings as well as clear out their home.
Sometimes this means working in garages, attics, and storage areas.
What are my Duties? Duties include, but are not limited to: working effectively as a team member: completing assigned jobs within given time frame; maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times; complying with our standards of ethics, integrity, and procedures; interacting directly with clients to help make decisions; suggesting solutions that contribute to the clients’ goal.
What kind of Skills do I need? The skills necessary, but not limited to, for this position are as follows: - Exempifly superior customer service.
- Possess the ability to listen and learn quickly then apply learned skills to other tasks.
- Willing to work with or learn how to use basic tools.
- Be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Tolerate spaces that are occasionally not environmentally controlled.
- Execute work at only the highest quality levels.
- Be on time, reliable, and maintain client confidentiality.
- We are on our feet all day so being able to stand, lift, bend and being active for long periods of time is required.
What else do I need for this job? You will need a current driver’s license and reliable transportation as you are in a different location every day from Williamsburg (on occasion) to Virginia Beach.
Must also be able to pass a background check.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.
00 - $18.
