AWS DevOps Engineer

Candidates living in DMV area will be preferred Responsible to consult with management on the software and operational requirements of application solutions.
Work collaboratively with application developers to automate and accelerate, testing, release and deployment of applications into a runtime environment quickly and reliably.
Manage the installation and configuration of web based and cloud native solutions.
Participate in technical research and development of complex software solutions.
Conform to best practices in Infrastructure, network administration and cybersecurity.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software and infrastructure issues, and develop tools/systems for task automation.
Manage and upgrade DevOps toolsets.
Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
Ability to oversee and mentor junior software developers, as well as report to management.
Ability to install and configure software, gather test-stage data, and perform troubleshooting.
Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
Requirements: · Master's degree/Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
· Extensive experience in DevOps engineering, team management, and collaboration.
· Good AWS DevOps development background and solid experience in AWS Services such as RDS, Lambda, S3, Step Functions, Glue, Load Balancers, Autoscaling, Cloud Watch and AWS CloudFormation.
· Experience with continuous integration/delivery tools such as Jenkins or similar.
· Experience within AWS cloud infrastructure platform.
· Experience with scripting languages in Bash, Python is preferred.
· Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as C#.
NET, Angular, NodeJS and writing code and scripts.
· Advanced knowledge of microservices and containerization tools such as Docker, AWS ECS.
· Advanced knowledge of best practices related to data encryption and cybersecurity.
· Ability to keep up with software development trends and innovation.
· Understanding of system administration in Linux environments.
· General familiarity with networking, security and automated deployments · Effective communication skills · Certification as AWS DevOps Engineer is preferred.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Type: Contract Pay: $55.
